Customer Service Database – developed and released in fall 2008 by Jason Huber, the Customer Service Database has won 1st place in the Savvy competition from 3CMA for the 2009 Digital Interactive (category). This is a national award given out to the best in the category.
The database is used by the city’s Public Works Department to manage and track customer issues related to our refuse and recycling operations. The city utilizes to contractors for these services and both organizations are able to share information with the city and each other using this single centralized database. The result is improved communication leading to improved customer service for our residents and businesses.
This was fun and challenging project with interactive maps, custom reports, and several levels of security rights.
